They are seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer Intern to build software and deliver customer outcomes by tackling real-world problems with AI-powered solutions and collaborating with customers to understand their needs.
Responsibilities
- Build software and deliver customer outcomes
- Helping customers deploy AI-powered solutions, building the software platforms of the future, and transforming how organizations operate
- Work side by side with our customers, rapidly understanding their toughest issues; architecting and building solutions that leverage business-critical data and the latest advancements in AI to solve them
- Use technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills to drive real-world impact
- Experience the autonomy of a startup, with the resources, mentorship, and stability of an established tech company
- Contribute high-quality code directly to Palantir Gotham, Palantir Foundry, or Palantir Apollo
- Create features used by research scientists, aerospace engineers, intelligence analysts, and economic forecasters, in countries around the world
- Join a team that builds a Foundry front-end application, or a component of the Gotham release infrastructure
Skills
- Pursuing or received a degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science
- Proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar
- Hands-on experience applying AI (whether through coursework, personal projects, internships, or relevant extracurricular activities)
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
- An active U.S. security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one, is required for USG roles
- An active U.S. security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one, is a plus but not required for all other roles
