Summary
Pantheon is a WebOps platform company that provides infrastructure for building, managing, and scaling modern websites. The Software Engineer II will build full-stack features for a real-time collaborative content platform, contribute to architecture and technical design, and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver maintainable software.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack features across backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code with shared ownership of quality
- Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions as an active participant, not just an implementer
- Collaborate closely with product and design to translate requirements into working, well-crafted software
- Integrate AI tooling into your development workflow and into the product itself
- Participate in code review and help maintain a high engineering bar across the team

Skills
- * 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
- * Solid full-stack capability — you have shipped production code on both backend and frontend, and you are willing to stretch into whichever side a problem requires
- * Experience with modern API design: REST, GraphQL, or webhooks
- * Comfortable working in cloud-native environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- * Strong fundamentals: you write tests, understand tradeoffs, and think about maintainability
- * Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language
- * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- * You are actively building with AI — using it in your development workflow or integrating it into the products you work on
