Summary
PingWind delivers services to the federal government, including cybersecurity, development, IT infrastructure, and system design. The Technical Project Manager leads the technical execution and delivery of an FSA Identity and Access Management modernization project, overseeing the transition from legacy systems to a cloud-based solution. The role coordinates Agile delivery, stakeholder collaboration, operational planning, environment support, change and release management, and overall technical execution.
Responsibilities
- The Technical Project Manager coordinates deliverables and reporting requirements, supports the consolidation of the two legacy systems into a single modern solution, and works closely with the FSA Product Owner and stakeholders. They actively participate in Agile processes by collaborating on work planning, providing feedback on requirements, and helping define sprint scope. The role includes managing Agile project activities with a focus on lean thinking, flexibility, and continuous improvement, while ensuring rapid and reliable delivery of code changes. They help define user stories and tasks, ensure work meets the FSA Definition of Done, and support the packaging of completed features for deployment. Additional responsibilities include providing uninterrupted technical and project management support during the transition and ongoing operations, as well as leading hour-by-hour operational planning, environment support coordination, change and release management, and overall technical execution of the IAM program
