Job description
Summary
Pond & Company is a full-service architecture, engineering, planning, construction management, and environmental services firm. The company is seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer to lead structural design and analysis projects, mentor junior engineers, support proposal efforts, and develop building systems from concept plans through construction documentation.
Responsibilities
- Take a leadership role in structural design and analysis projects
- Mentor junior engineers
- Support proposal efforts
- Working on projects spanning multiple markets and geographies
- Moving efficiently through various design stages, from concept plans to construction documentation
Skills
- BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years of related structural design and/or analysis experience
- Experience mentoring and training employees
- Proven experience leading projects, supporting proposal efforts, and interfacing with clients
- Ability to work well within a team environment, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Self-motivated, with the ability to multitask and produce high-quality work
- A strong desire to learn and grow professionally
- PE/SE license is a strong plus
- Proficiency with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM
Qualifications
