Summary
Premier Inc. is a healthcare consulting organization seeking an Advisory Services Intern to support performance improvement engagements for healthcare systems. The intern will analyze data, assess client needs, develop recommendations and presentations, support implementation efforts, and participate in practice development and training activities.
Responsibilities
- Obtain data, execute or coordinate analyses, initiate interpretations and conclusions, and prepare verbal and graphic presentations, using methods that are professionally sound and efficient relative to project objectives and conform to standards of the firm
- Generate billings revenue by conducting assigned analyses, write and prepare reports, and assist clients in implementing desired changes at the direction of team leadership
- Define detailed business requirements by working in tandem with team members to effectively interview clients to clarify project objectives; document customer “wants” and “needs”
- Create and prepare presentations and deliverables for client audiences that communicate strategy and outcomes at the direction of team leadership
- Deliver content for projects in a timely and quality manner
- Create required deliverables as it relates to internship requirements to showcase new and learned skillsets
- Participate in practice development activities for the Advisory Services Practice overall or for Service Lines within the Practice
- Network with peers and colleagues across the Advisory Services practice and broader Premier network
- Learn Premier based technologies and services
- Complete all required training requirements

- * Statistical tools (R. Python, SAS, Matlab, etc.), Advanced Excel skills, Tableau, Business Intelligence
- * Experience in healthcare, business or finance
- * Demonstrated interest in healthcare performance improvement
- * Demonstrated capability to lead and show value from their efforts
- * Graduate students who are pursuing additional education
- * Bachelor's degree
