Summary
PropelAuth provides authentication and authorization solutions for startups and AI products. The Support Engineer will help customers integrate the product, resolve issues, build small features, maintain documentation, and create technical content while collaborating with product and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Monitor our support channels - email and Slack - and respond to customer requests promptly
- Fix minor bugs or build minor features (or escalate to the appropriate team member)
- Maintain API documentation around the PropelAuth product
- Write tutorials and technical content to assist our customers in understanding the product
- Suggest features and improvements based on patterns you observe
- While the hours for this role will generally be 9am-5pm in your timezone, there may be periods where you will need to be on call or work late
Skills
- 3+ years engineering experience
- Experience working directly with customers
- Experience working independently on small teams
- Excellent written communication skills
- User empathy
- Ability to move quickly, but carefully
- We're a remote-first team, spread over the US. Working hours are flexible but we ask that you have 4-5 hours of overlap with 9am-5pm PST
- Experience with authentication or security appreciated but not required
