Job description
Summary
PSI (Proteam Solutions) is seeking a Data Engineer for a remote role in Dublin, Ohio. The position focuses on enterprise data modeling, governance, data quality, and architecture across modern data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
Responsibilities
- Candidate should have strong understanding of Medallion Architecture in Databricks
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Ability to handle large-scale, enterprise-wide domains (cross-functional data)
- Define and enforce data modeling standards, naming conventions, and governance practices
- Align models with enterprise data architecture and business strategy
- Translate business requirements into structured data models
- Ensure models support data integration, consistency, and reusability
- Embed data quality rules, lineage, and metadata management into designs
- Hands-on experience with tools like ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, cloud DWs) and how modeling fits into them
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling (Kimball) and/or Data Vault
