Software Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

Summary

Quadrillion is a startup building Qualia, an agentic research platform that empowers ML researchers, quants, and data scientists. The Software Engineering Intern will work on shipping product changes, fixing customer bugs, and building new features, contributing to core systems and scalable environments.

Responsibilities

• Build effective systems for agent orchestration. You'll engineer the core system that drives Qualia, improving its ability to reason over long horizons, run parallel experiments, and manage its knowledge
• Scale environments for agent experiments and training. Help us build the sandboxed compute where agents run complex, high-performance experiments, and scale it to tens of thousands of concurrent deployments
• Expand what agents can do and where they run. Build and deploy the tools and integrations that connect Qualia to customers' data sources and external systems

Skills

• Strong full-stack or backend engineering experience, especially with Python
• Comfort working in unfamiliar codebases
• Ability to move quickly in a zero-to-one environment
• Significant engineering chops in either Python or React
• Sophomores and juniors preferred but open to frosh
• Current undergraduate at a US or Canadian university
