Job description

Summary

Responsibilities

  • Design, document, and maintain technical integration specifications for external vendor systems, including data mappings, interface definitions, transformation logic, and delivery protocols. Ensure integration solutions meet scalability, performance, and security standards
  • Serve as consultant, and L3 support for the deployment, and maintenance of robust ETL pipelines using tools like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), supporting automated data ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery between systems
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support large-scale data integration, monitoring, and reconciliation tasks. Ensure high availability and performance of backend data processes
  • Act as the technical point of contact for all vendor integration issues, owning problem resolution, root cause analysis, and long-term stability planning. Coordinate with infrastructure and development teams as needed
  • Implement and maintain integration monitoring and alerting to proactively detect issues in data transfers, latency, and schema mismatches. Work with stakeholders to triage and resolve production incidents
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors in a direct client facing role, ensuring clear communication channels for ongoing integration needs, enhancements, troubleshooting, and compliance requirements

  • Participate in vendor performance reviews to provide technical insight on integration health, incident history, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure vendor integrations adhere to data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA), secure authentication practices, and internal governance policies
