Summary
R37 is R1’s AI innovation lab, building technology to transform healthcare through AI and automation. The Product Engineer II will develop full-stack applications using React, Node.js, and Python, while helping translate AI capabilities into simple, clear, and trustworthy user experiences. The role partners with customers, design, and research to understand workflows and deliver healthcare products end to end.
Responsibilities
- You’ll partner with customers, design, and research to understand real workflows, then ship products that make complex automation feel simple, clear, and trustworthy
- Accountable to independently deliver a complete end-to-end project, owning design, implementation, and delivery of scoped work
- Comfortable owning features end-to-end - from scoping and design to deployment
Skills
- At a minimum, we expect 5 years of software engineering experience with 2 years of direct React development
- You're a full-stack engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience who can build and strategize
- Comfortable across the application stack - expert in React, TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, Python
- Accountable to independently deliver a complete end-to-end project, owning design, implementation, and delivery of scoped work
- Comfortable owning features end-to-end - from scoping and design to deployment
- Visual design skills (Figma, Illustrator)
- Background in healthcare technology or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
- Experience in dynamic startup, SaaS, or PaaS environments
- Exposure to data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Palantir, EMR, or Athena
