Job description
Summary
Recruiting from Scratch is representing a dynamic startup focused on building visual conversational AI that feels as human as possible. The Design Engineer will design and implement user-friendly interfaces, collaborate on UI/UX designs, and integrate OpenAI technology to enhance the conversational capabilities of the platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement user-friendly interfaces using React and TypeScript to enhance user interaction
- Collaborate with a team of 8 to develop and refine UI/UX designs that elevate the conversational AI experience
- Utilize Figma for prototyping and visual design, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs
- Integrate OpenAI technology to enhance the conversational capabilities of the platform
- Participate in user testing and feedback sessions to iterate on design solutions and improve functionality
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to ensure a cohesive development process from concept to launch
Skills
- 1+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on product design and UI/UX
- Proficient in React and TypeScript, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects
- Experience using Figma for design and prototyping
- Familiarity with AI technologies, particularly OpenAI
- Previous experience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and initiative
- Knowledge of best practices in UI/UX design and user-centered design principles
- Experience with agile development methodologies and collaborative team environments
Qualifications
Must Haves
