Summary
Recruiting from Scratch is representing a dynamic venture-backed company at the forefront of AI and software development. The Founding Engineer will design and implement scalable full-stack applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product features.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js
- Develop and maintain backend services with Python and AWS to support robust data processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product features based on user feedback
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality software development practices are maintained
- Optimize application performance and scalability by analyzing system metrics and user interactions
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment and maintenance
Skills
- 2-5 years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on JavaScript frameworks
- Proficient in React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Python, with a solid understanding of AWS services
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with product and design teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and data engineering practices
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices for continuous integration and deployment
- Previous involvement in startup environments or high-growth technology companies
Qualifications
Must Haves
- 2-5 years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on JavaScript frameworks
