Summary
Revel is revolutionizing the way critical hardware is controlled across various sectors. They are seeking a Hardware-in-the-Loop Engineer to ensure the reliability and scalability of their software by maintaining the infrastructure for continuous integration and testing workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain hardware-in-the-loop systems
- Define and integrate test equipment and instrumentation necessary for HIL testing
- Administer and scale the HIL build and compute infrastructure used for continuous integration (CI)
- Drive improvements in HIL testing effectiveness through best practices, tooling, and process enhancements
- Maintain high standards of documentation, automation, and security throughout the deployment lifecycle
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 0–2 years of professional experience in a software engineering role
- Foundational experience with Python, particularly in scripting or automation
- Eagerness to learn server infrastructure, CI/CD systems, and embedded testing environments
- Exposure to data acquisition systems or industrial IoT / Industry 4.0 environments
- Familiarity with Linux systems administration
- Interest in or coursework related to hardware-software integration, spacecraft, aircraft, or autonomous vehicles
- Any exposure to Rust is a strong plus
