Job description
Summary
S2Technologies is seeking a Junior Database Developer to support Littoral Combat Ship Squadron TWO (LCSRON TWO). The role involves providing database design and creation for metrics analysis and assisting in developing processes to enhance operational efficiency and data reporting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in development of information to improve maintenance activities
- Create methods to pull applicable reports and queries from the databases and perform analysis and metrics on the data as agreed to by the associated work groups to meet business needs
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations in the design and development of tools, processes, metrics, and reports to meet the business needs
- Provide products that convey complex analysis in easy to understand methods like graphs, charts, and tables
- Use Access, SharePoint, SQL, VBA, HTML and other such tools of various database and web-design software to organize, analyze, and interpret data
Skills
- Three years of specific experience with developing databases, business analysis, Access, SharePoint, MS Office Suite, SQL, VBA, HTML, and other similar areas and applications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with in the areas of database development or computer related fields
- Experience with Access, SharePoint and other similar business analyst software and applications
- US Citizen Required
- Active Secret Clearance Required
- Superior communication skills
- Experience with the US Navy
- Experience with maintenance programs and analysis
- Experience working with senior leadership
- Experience with various database software
- Experience with various web development tools
Qualifications
