Summary
SAIC is a mission integrator providing technology, engineering, and professional services for defense, space, intelligence, and civilian markets. The Configuration Management Analyst will support PMW 110 programs by administering the CMPRO product lifecycle management tool, establishing and maintaining hardware and software baselines, and supporting configuration management processes. The role also involves system administration, application testing, training, configuration status accounting, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the government's CM program and assisting the lead CMS in developing, reviewing and maintaining the PLM Tool CMPRO
- Assisting the lead CMS with product structure/configuration hierarchy definition and maintaining configuration baselines (Functional, Allocated, Product, As-Installed)
- Manage user accounts within the PLM Tool, CMPRO
- Work with NIWC Network Administrators to resolve system/network problems and to provide updates and bug fixes to the web site with associated CM implementation
- Test and integrate vendor application updates prior to installation/implementation in the Production instance
- Reviewing, updating and providing CM process training to contractor and government personnel as required
- Establishing complete baselines for hardware and software and displaying the information via the CM data repository
- Supporting the government's Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) process and procedures
- Providing weekly status updates and Monthly Activity Reports
Skills
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System, or Information Technology and two (2) years or more relative experience
- Experience in performing Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, Configuration Audits
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have an Active Secret Clearance to start
- Software Configuration Management experience is a plus
- Database Administration experience is a plus
- Prior experience with PMW 160 or other NAVWAR organizations
- Familiar with the use of CMPRO, JIRA, Confluence
- CMPIC certification is a plus
