Summary

SAIC is offering Summer 2026 internship opportunities for college students committed to a major in business, analytics, or related fields. These internships provide hands-on experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and process improvement, preparing interns for entry-level roles in business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support the collection, analysis, and visualization of business data to drive insights and improve decision-making processes
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement dashboards, reports, and data-driven solutions
• Assist in analyzing and improving business processes by leveraging BI tools and methodologies
• Utilize and maintain data acquisition, transformation, and reporting systems within an IT environment
• Assist in the development and improvement of Change Management processes to enhance efficiency and ensure seamless adoption of data-driven tools

Skills

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree and a strong record of academic achievement with anticipated graduation in May of 2027
• Based on Federal Law, you must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance
• Reside in Richmond, VA area while in the internship program
• Practical experience or coursework in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SQL to build reports and dashboards
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to work with large data sets and draw meaningful conclusions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings and insights effectively
• Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to various phases of data modeling, reporting, and process improvement
• A keen interest in using data to solve business challenges and enhance decision-making processes
