Summary

SAIC is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting mission-critical systems in enterprise and government environments. This role involves developing, testing, and maintaining software applications with a focus on secure coding practices and troubleshooting.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Foundational experience in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications
  • Exposure to modern programming languages
  • Experience with version control systems
  • Understanding of secure coding practices
  • Troubleshooting and debugging processes
  • 9+ years of experience in IT operations
  • Expertise in real-time system monitoring
  • Account management
  • Troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deploying and managing zarf packages
  • Active SECRET clearance
  • Eligibility for Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Experience or familiarity with containerized environments, such as Kubernetes
  • Eagerness to engage with new technologies like zarf deployments
  • Certifications in secure programming, cloud technologies, or development frameworks
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Master's degree in IT, Systems Management, or a related discipline
  • Advanced expertise in DI-hosted Kubernetes environments and zarf package management
  • Experience presenting metrics and operational data to senior leadership in a clear and actionable manner
  • Holding a TS/SCI clearance
