Summary
Sandhills Global is seeking a Swine Marketing Intern to assist in growing the LivestockMarket.com website. The intern will focus on new market development in the swine industry, contacting sellers, educating them on products, and handling customer communications.
Responsibilities
- Learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services
- Focus on new market development within the swine industry
- Contact sellers within the swine and livestock industries
- Educate sellers on products and services
- Explain websites and how to enter their own information
- Enter listings for sellers
- Handle in-bound and outbound customer calls and email communications
- Gather information on shows and meetings in the industry
- Research the swine and livestock industries
- Provide feedback from the industry
- Build solid relationships with members of the industries served
- Focus on customer service and sales
- Assist in the implementation of various tasks
- Assume other duties as assigned

- Experience or knowledge in the swine industry
- Ability to commute when scheduled to the local office
