Job description

Summary

Sanmina is a company focused on enterprise applications, and they are seeking an Enterprise Wide Programmer/Analyst. The role involves analyzing requirements, developing test plans, and assisting in the development of code for manufacturing and engineering systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts analysis of new requirements or requirements for updates, new development and modification of current development, testing and implementation of enterprise wide application
  • Develops test plans and protocols for evaluation of system performance/functionality
  • Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation
  • Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards
  • Coordinates system upgrade activity
  • Trains user personnel in the developed program and implementation of the system
  • Assists in the development of code for manufacturing/engineering systems
  • Developing scripts for data transfer
  • Work help desk tickets
  • Development (and testing) of application functions
  • Analyzing and documenting existing code
  • Re-factoring code into a new language
  • Learn software application and software Administrator tools

Skills

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or MIS major
  • 1 year experience; preferably in a large, corporate manufacturing environment
  • Languages include Java programming, Java Script and Java web page development and SQL including Database programming
  • XML preferred
