Summary
Sardine is an agentic risk platform focused on fighting financial crime, fraud, and money laundering. The UAT Analyst will evaluate complex systems, develop and execute test plans, identify and troubleshoot defects, and support product development across the company’s API-driven platform. The role works closely with customers and product and engineering teams to ensure software quality across dashboards, APIs, mobile SDKs, and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, and product owners to understand user requirements and acceptance criteria
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for Sardine’s product, including our dashboard, APIs, and mobile SDKs
- Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to ensure they are resolved before release
- Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Sardine to effectively predict, test, and prevent product issues
- Stay updated on product enhancements, new features, and industry best practices
- Perform root cause analysis on defects or system failures to identify underlying issues affecting application performance or stability
- Maintain documentation of test cases, test scripts, test results, and quality assurance reports in accordance with QA standards
- Provide technical support during release management cycles; assist in troubleshooting deployment issues within cloud environments like GCP or AWS

- Understanding of REST API and use of tools like Postman
- Ability to write Eval for AI Products
- Ability to write structured test plans, along with step-by-step manual test scripts
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in high-pressure situations
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies including functional testing, performance testing, automation testing, API testing, and user acceptance testing
- Strong communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Prior experience performing testing in systems used by banks or governments
