Summary
Sedbox is a technology consulting company focused on equipping customers with the capabilities and support to conduct intelligent and successful cyber, AI, embedded, and application development operations. They are seeking a Backend Engineer proficient in Go Lang to develop and manage solutions that leverage analytics and cognitive technologies.
Responsibilities
- Strong technical skills including an understanding of software development principles
- Experience with Go lang
- Databases: SQL or Non-SQL or Firebase
- Designing and developing RESTful API’s
- Working knowledge of Git
- Comfortable operating in a linux environment
- Ability to write clean code, document bugs, test code before publishing making sure it works
- Ability to articulate reasons behind the design choices being made
- Ability to build and test solution in agile delivery manner
- Ability to complete tasks independently
Skills
- Strong technical skills including an understanding of software development principles
- Experience with Go lang
- Databases: SQL or Non-SQL or Firebase
- Designing and developing RESTful API's
- Working knowledge of Git
- Comfortable operating in a linux environment
- Ability to write clean code, document bugs, test code before publishing making sure it works
- Ability to articulate reasons behind the design choices being made

- Experience in any Javascript/ Python/ Java / C/C++
- Previous experience with any other back/frontend framework and UX development

- Any bigdata certification is a plus
- Designing and building applications in microservices architectures
- Comfortable developing and deploying containerized workloads
- Ability to work with a Kubernetes based deployment
- Write test automations
- Experience designing or utilizing ML or NLP tools or solutions
- Google cloud or AWS
