Job description
Summary
SEF® is seeking a Systems Engineer to support its research and development and manufacturing operations. The role manages systems infrastructure, develops software for user interfaces and embedded controls, integrates electrical, mechanical, and software functions, and provides testing, technical support, and training.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, install, maintain, and administer infrastructure such as hardware, software, and various configurations
- Write software for user interfaces, embedded controls, and test management
- Work with vendors to specify components
- Be responsible for all functions such as electrical, mechanical, and software associated with R&D and manufacturing
- Provide remote testing, technical support, and training
Skills
- 1-3 years related engineering experience
- Accountability, ownership of success
- Self-starter
- Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. (SEF Energy employees shall not manually lift an item weighing more than 50 lbs., they shall utilize mechanical assistance devices. If mechanical assistance devices are not available, utilize a team lift.)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required
