Job description

The Procurement Intern is "hosted" by the Procurement team at our Morikis Global Technology Center in Brecksville, Ohio. The identified candidate will start May 24th, 2027, and end July 30th, 2027.

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Procurement Manager with:

  • Support procurement and supplier activities
  • Maintain vendor, pricing and reporting data
  • Assist with procurement analytics and data analysis
  • Support purchasing and supplier pricing projects
  • Assist with special projects and process reviews
  • Gain exposure to cost modeling and market analytics
  • Develop data analysis and reporting skills
  • Learn supplier pricing and vendor management processes
  • Build business problem-solving and project management skills
  • Engage in early career development programming, including workshops, info sessions and networking opportunities through the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Program Team

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement

  • Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship or co-op program
  • Must have at least one (1) year of work experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Operations, (e.g Industrial Management, Supply Chain, Engineering Technology, Logistics with concentration in related Operations field, etc)
  • Have previous Sherwin-Williams Internship or Co-op experience
  • Have previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc.
  • Be a rising or current junior or senior in college or university at the start of the internship program
