Job description
Summary
SingleStore delivers a cloud-native distributed SQL database designed to power data-intensive applications with real-time data experiences. The Software Engineer Intern will work on engineering teams for 12 weeks, owning projects end-to-end, developing features, testing software, and contributing to products continuously deployed into production.
Responsibilities
- Our Software Engineers work on small, collaborative teams to help drive our company forward. Our interns are responsible for projects that are deployed continuously into production over the course of their internship. Your work will include everything from developing features to testing software and you’ll gain a significant understanding of both the product and the business
Skills
- Be enrolled in a B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
- Deep understanding of C.S. fundamentals
- Strong programming skills with JavaScript, Golang or TypeScript
- Passionate about building highly reliable software
- Firm grasp of algorithms and data structures
- Understanding of core C.S. fundamentals, in particular operating systems, distributed systems, concurrency, multithreading, and server architectures
Qualifications
Must Haves
