Angular Engineer

Summary

SME Careers is a fast-growing AI data services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate that provides AI training data to many of the world’s largest AI companies. As an Angular Engineer, you will work remotely to review AI-generated Angular code and produce high-quality reference implementations while ensuring the integrity and performance of AI models.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI Training Content: Create detailed prompts across Angular topics and write high-quality reference answers to guide AI learning
• Optimize AI Performance: Evaluate and rank AI responses to enhance correctness, clarity, accessibility, and performance
• Ensure Model Integrity: Test AI models for inaccuracies or unsafe recommendations, validating reliability across real-world use cases

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 4+ years of professional experience building production web applications with Angular
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and Angular fundamentals: components, modules/standalone APIs, DI, services, pipes, directives, guards, and interceptors
• Strong understanding of RxJS (observables, operators, multicasting, error handling, cancellation) and reactive UI patterns
• Deep knowledge of Angular performance: change detection strategies (OnPush), async pipe patterns, zone.js considerations, signals (if applicable), trackBy, and rendering optimization
• Experience with Angular routing, forms, and validation: Reactive Forms, custom validators, form performance, and UX patterns
• Familiarity with SSR and deployment patterns: Angular Universal / SSR, hydration, caching, and security considerations
• Experience with testing and quality: Jasmine/Karma or Jest, Angular Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright, linting, CI/CD
• Minimum C1 English proficiency (written and spoken), with the ability to write clear technical explanations and follow detailed English-language guidelines
• Proven experience conducting detailed code reviews and enforcing coding standards for maintainability, correctness, and accessibility
• Highly detail-oriented and systematic, with a methodical approach to evaluating reasoning quality and identifying subtle issues in complex UI code
• Angular 12+ preferred; Angular 16/17+ a strong plus
• Previous experience with AI data training, annotation, or evaluating AI-generated technical content is a strong plus
