Summary
SOSi is among the largest private, founder-owned technology and services integrators in the defense and government services industry. They are seeking a GitLab Administrator to support mission requirements for developing, integrating, and sustaining a scalable data ecosystem that enhances interoperability and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer.
Responsibilities
- The contractor shall establish and maintain GitLab repositories for version control, code collaboration, and tracking changes to scripts, documentation, and system configurations
- The contractor shall implement role-based access controls (RBAC) in GitLab, ensuring only authorized personnel can access and modify repositories
- The contractor shall submit the GitLab Access & Security Compliance Report, documenting repository management, user access controls, and security policies
Skills
- Knowledge and capability to administer, maintain, and optimize GitLab for version control, repository management, and secure DevSecOps workflows
- Proficient in CI/CD pipeline configuration, access control management, and code repository best practices
- Strong troubleshooting and automation skills are required to support software development teams
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or; Five (5) years of equivalent experience in GitLab administration
- Demonstrated experience in managing Git repositories, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure DevSecOps integration
- Experience with access control policies, automated testing frameworks, and software configuration management is required
- Desirable but not required certifications include GitLab Certified Associate or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
