They are seeking an Intermediate Systems Engineer to support production operations, software deployments, and enterprise application sustainment for a large federal information system.
Responsibilities
- Support production operations
- Assist with software deployments and release activities
- Monitor production environments and troubleshoot operational issues
- Support configuration management and documentation
- Coordinate with software engineers and customer stakeholders to resolve production issues
- Support testing and implementation activities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years supporting enterprise IT systems
- Experience supporting production environments
- Experience supporting software implementation activities
- Technical skills in IBM z/OS, JCL, Oracle, Cognos, Broadcom Endevor, Configuration Management
- COBOL
