Summary
Redwire Space is a leading developer of mission critical solutions for the next generation of critical space infrastructure. They are seeking summer interns to participate in developing National Security Space mission critical solutions, providing hands-on projects aligned with company goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- You will work directly with our trained and dedicated professionals, meet with our executive and leadership team members and be assigned a mentor who will help coach you and guide you during your internship
- As a National Security Space intern at Redwire you will be working alongside our professional team of experts in one of the following disciplines: Aerospace Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Payloads / Structures, Project Management, Marketing / Communications, Research and Development, Business Development, Systems Engineering
Skills
- Currently enrolled in a nationally accredited University or College
- Pursuing either a Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. in one of the disciplines noted (Aerospace Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Payloads / Structures, Project Management, Marketing / Communications, Research and Development, Business Development, Systems Engineering)
- High level of energy
- Drive to work in a team/collaborative environment
- Desire to excel in all aspects of work
- Excelled in all aspects of college or University experience as demonstrated by results of previous internships, coursework, projects, research, workshops and other collegiate activities
- Creative, resourceful and driven to success
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
- Passionate about space
