Software Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)

Summary

Spacial is redefining how the built world gets designed, engineered, and approved through their AI-powered platform. They are seeking a Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to help build product features, improve workflows, and work on applied AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and ship features on the Spacial website
• Help design and improve internal tools and workflow automations that increase speed and efficiency across teams
• Support LLM- and AI-powered initiatives that can be applied across various parts of the business, including go-to-market, operations, customer workflows, and internal knowledge systems
• Assist with training, evaluating, and improving AI models and prompts for practical business use cases
• Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and leadership on cross-functional projects
• Prototype new tools and systems that help automate manual work and improve team productivity
• Support debugging, QA, and deployment of new features and internal systems
• Contribute to the technical implementation of experiments that improve how the company operates and serves customers

Skills

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Interest in AI, LLMs, and practical software development
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Interested in gaining exposure to the many functions involved in building and running a startup
• Experience building web applications
• Exposure to backend development and APIs
• Experience with machine learning tools or AI model workflows
