Mid/Senior Level Full-Stack Rails Engineer

Summary

SparkLoop is the largest growth platform for newsletters, building tools for publishers to grow and monetize their audiences. The role involves owning projects from start to finish, collaborating with teams, and contributing to the development of the SparkLoop platform.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of building new features end to end
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering and Growth teams to make sure we build delightful features for our customers
• Help scale and maintain our infrastructure as we grow

Skills

• Experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with Postgres
• Experience with ElasticSearch
• Experience with Sidekiq
• Experience with Hotwire/Stimulus
• Experience with Tailwind CSS
• Strong writing skills for clear communication in a remote and async-first environment
• Ability to take ownership of projects and areas of the product
• Confidence as a full-stack Rails developer, comfortable across the stack
• Fluency with agentic coding tools
• Comfort with ambiguity and decision-making
• Based in Europe or the Americas
