Summary
Squarepoint is a company that focuses on delivering mission-critical platform infrastructure. They are seeking a Junior Platform Specialist to work with stakeholders on automated platform solutions and to manage platform infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Delivering mission-critical platform infrastructure using the DevOps methodology
- Working with internal and external stakeholders on building and maintaining automated platform solutions and services used across the firm
- Designing, monitoring, and platform infrastructure
- Automating everyday tasks with scripting and configuration management tools
Skills
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline
- Up to 4 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles
- Experience with Python, git, Bash and Linux
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to continuously learn new technologies and develop with us
- Experience with modern software development tooling, such as Gitlab, Artifactory or Docker
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management, such as Ansible and Terraform
- Experience with HPC and orchestration technologies, such as Slurm or Kubernetes
- Experience with Databases and Observability systems, such as Elasticsearch, Datadog, Prometheus, PostgreSQL
Qualifications
Must Haves
