Summary
Staffing Solutions Enterprises is seeking a dynamic Software Test Engineer to join their innovative team. The role involves developing and executing testing strategies to ensure the quality of cutting-edge communications technology.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies that guarantee the reliability, performance, and quality of complex digital collaboration platforms used worldwide
- Analyzing and troubleshooting issues
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
- 0-5 years of experience in software testing or development
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining regression test documentation
- Experience assisting with integration testing and system regression testing
- Familiarity with software configuration management and release processes
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a US Citizen; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance required
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment, unless legally waived
- Willingness to support large federal contracts and related compliance standards
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of VoIP, video, and data collaboration applications
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Experience supporting federal or government contracts
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline
- Up to five years of practical experience in software testing or development roles
