Summary
Stand Together Fellowships runs the Koch Internship Program, a paid experiential learning program providing professional development, leadership training, and work experience with nonprofit organizations addressing policy challenges. The Associate Policy Analyst Intern will assist the National Taxpayers Union Foundation with research, analysis, and outreach focused on budget and tax reform, including tracking policy proposals and budget data and contributing to issue briefs and website content.
Responsibilities
- Assist with NTUF research, analysis, and outreach efforts focused on budget and tax reform. Responsibilities include tracking and analyzing policy proposals and budget data, and contributing to issue briefs and other content for NTUF's website
- Taxpayers’ Budget Office: Support efforts to improve fiscal transparency, strengthen cost estimates, eliminate budget gimmicks, reduce wasteful spending, and expose costly government perks
- Free Trade Initiative: Support initiatives that educate Americans about the economic benefits of trade
- Center for State Competitiveness: Collaborate on efforts to resist the growing trend of states seeking to tax and regulate outside their borders, disrupting interstate commerce
