Summary
Strategio is seeking a detail-driven Junior Data Analyst to support a high-impact data transformation initiative in a fast-paced, data-centric environment. The role involves ensuring data accuracy, performing data profiling, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate data into meaningful insights.
Responsibilities
- Map data from current systems to target environments, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Perform data profiling and analyze differences between source and target datasets
- Support data validation and execute testing activities based on defined test plans
- Write clear business requirements and user stories aligned with program objectives
- Assist in coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), tracking issues and supporting resolution efforts
- Collaborate with data, technology, and business teams to support successful data transformation
Skills
- Experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and validation
- Understanding of data mapping, data profiling, and data transformation concepts
- Ability to document business requirements, user stories, and testing scenarios clearly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
- Ability to work on-site in McLean, VA five days per week
- Exposure to financial services or regulated data environments
- Experience supporting data migration or transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with UAT coordination and stakeholder communication
