Quantitative Strategy Developer Internship: Summer 2027

Summary

Susquehanna International Group is a global quantitative trading firm focused on scientific rigor and innovation. They are seeking highly motivated full-time students for their 10-week quantitative strategy development summer internship program, where interns will work on projects related to trading strategy development and gain insights into financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Use strong technical skills to solve problems at the intersection of trading, quant and technology
• Work on challenging projects for trading strategy development teams in signal creation and detection, quantitative strategy analysis, and low latency C++ strategy development
• Receive education about how markets work by going through a deep dive into financial markets and Susquehanna’s approach to trading
• Work side by side with senior developers to understand the nuances of building complex trading strategies

Skills

• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or closely related STEM discipline
• Intention to graduate with a minimum of a bachelor's degree and begin full time employment by August 2028
• Strong software development skills in Python and a compiled language
• Experience and comfort working with data using libraries such as Pandas, Polars, or NumPy
• Exceptional quantitative, logical reasoning, and analytical skills
