Summary
Synopsys Inc is a technology company that drives innovations shaping the way we live and connect. They are seeking a Software Development Intern to partner with experienced developers, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to software quality through testing and defect resolution.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with experienced software developers throughout the design, implementation, and verification phases of development
- Build hands-on experience with modern development tools, technologies, and engineering processes
- Investigate and help resolve defects found in production code
- Design, develop, and execute unit and regression tests to ensure software quality
- Analyze test results and clearly communicate findings and recommendations to the team
Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Enrolled full-time in an accredited degree program and planning to return to university following the completion of the internship
- Experience in object-oriented programming concepts and languages such as Java, C++, and/or C#
Qualifications
Must Haves
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
