Marketing/Design intern

Do you get excited about the digital and analytical aspects of marketing? Do you love to continuously learn about new things, and tinker with new tools and ideas? Do you have a degree in marketing or design (or are you close to earning one)?

This PAID internship is for students of design or marketing majors who want to develop real world skills in design, marketing, communication, web design, and event planning.

This position will start as a paid internship, that may evolve into a part-time or full-time position.

Required Skills / Knowledge:

• Knowledge of design principles, including layout, typography, color, balance, composition and current design trends – demonstration of these skills through delivery of a project portfolio of work, preferably delivered in a digital format
• Ability to work in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint. HTML/CSS experience is a plus, custom illustration is also a plus
• Ability to function as a contributing team member and interact positively and openly with peers 
• Ability to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency
• Aptitude to work constructively under stress in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
• Ability to learn, take direction and handle critiques
• Good written and oral communication skills

Expected Outcomes:

• TampaPrinter will deliver a steady stream of effective marketing programs, enhancing the company’s brand image and market presence for prospective and current customers.
• TampaPrinter will explore the latest and greatest in technological advancements in this area, keeping marketing/design materials fresh and innovative.

Education / Previous Experience:

• The preferred candidate will be a current student pursuing a Bachelor's in Marketing, Graphic Design or a related field.
• 0-2 year(s)’ experience in graphic design
