Job description
Summary
Tango Tango develops and delivers innovative communication services for public safety and commercial customers across the US. They are looking for a software developer to design and implement both backend and frontend components of their applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend and frontend components of our applications, ensuring seamless integration and performance
- Develop and maintain our backend services on AWS using Elixir, Phoenix, and Phoenix Live View
- Work on embedded devices utilizing C++ and Rust
- Contribute to the development of our Android and iOS applications using Dart/Flutter
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and collaborate with the team to devise optimal solutions
- Participate in CI/CD practices to enhance our development workflow and ensure high-quality releases
Skills
- Any experience level
- US Citizenship required
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
- Experience with cloud-based services, particularly AWS, including Fargate and other related services
- Proficiency in Elixir and the BEAM ecosystem, including Phoenix and Phoenix Live View
- Competence in Dart/Flutter for Android and iOS app development
- Experience with C, C++, and Rust for embedded device development
- Familiarity with web based applications and IP networking
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
