Summary
TEECOM is a fully remote consulting firm that hires project management professionals across the US, UK, and India. Project Managers support the internal operations of engineering teams by coordinating schedules, documentation, finances, risks, and multiple concurrent engagements, with senior-level roles taking on broader operational ownership and mentoring responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Support the internal operations of engineering teams — working alongside a Team Lead to keep projects running on time, on budget, and on scope
- Tracking project schedules and milestones
- Maintaining project documentation
- Coordinating across discipline engineers
- Supporting invoicing and fee tracking
- Flagging scope and schedule risks to the Team Lead
- Helping the team stay organized across multiple concurrent engagements
- Take on greater ownership of project operations
- Support multiple Team Leads simultaneously
- Contribute to process improvements
- Help develop junior project managers on the team
Skills
- Experience in project coordination or project management
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Financial and resource management experience — tracking budgets, profitability, billing, invoicing, and resource forecasting to catch issues early
- Clear written and verbal communication — you keep the team informed, document decisions, and flag risks before they become bigger problems
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
- Comfort working closely with technical teams — you don't need to be an engineer, but you understand how engineering projects are structured and delivered
- Process-oriented and proactive — you follow established processes, spot gaps before they become problems, and help teams improve consistency and accountability
- Degree in business, project management, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
- Ideally in a professional services, AEC, or technology consulting environment
- PMP certification or equivalent
