Summary
TensorOps is an applied-machine-learning studio that helps organisations across Europe and North America design, train, and deploy production-grade GenAI systems. The Junior Data Scientist will analyze project data, evaluate AI model performance, translate technical findings into business recommendations, create reports and presentations, and support project discovery activities.
Responsibilities
- Analyze Performance Data — work with data generated by our AI models to measure their effectiveness, identify trends, and understand user behaviour
- Research and Evaluate Models — support senior team members by researching new AI and machine learning approaches, summarizing their capabilities and potential business applications
- Translate Technical to Business — collaborate with ML engineers to understand how models work, and then articulate their value and limitations in a business context
- Create Reports & Presentations — develop clear, concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to internal teams and client stakeholders
- Support Project Teams — assist in the discovery phase of new projects by analyzing client data and identifying opportunities where AI can solve key business challenges
Skills
- You are a recent graduate or have 0-2 years of professional experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or related role
- Strong foundational skills in Python for data analysis (especially Pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data querying
- A natural curiosity for technology and a strong desire to learn about machine learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Generative AI
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; you are comfortable explaining analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and great attention to detail
- A BSc or MS in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Based in Pakistan, with working hours that overlap with our European team
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) is a plus
