Summary

Tesla is seeking a motivated Summer Intern to support their Service Programs Team in optimizing mobile service technician operations for Robotaxi servicing needs. The intern will play a key role in enhancing Mobile Technician route efficiency by identifying opportunities to integrate new repair segments into technicians’ schedules.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical route data to identify patterns and opportunities for optimizing technician schedules
• Collaborate with service teams to understand operational constraints and requirements
• Develop SQL/Excel-based models to quantify the impact of adding non-customer repairs to routes
• Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate with software teams to evaluate or design tools that support route optimization workflows

Skills

• Pursuing a Master's Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Operations Research, or related field
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to operational goals, paired with a foundational understanding of software development structures
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience with SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools
