Summary
The National Youth Investment Fund is a nonprofit focused on expanding access to financial education for high school students. The Investment Analyst receives training and mentorship in equity research and portfolio management, then researches public companies, develops investment theses, presents stock recommendations, and monitors portfolio holdings.
Responsibilities
- Investment Analysts at NYIF receive structured training through our financial education and investment curriculum, with individualized 1-on-1 guidance to help them build skills in equity research and portfolio management
- Analysts then apply what they learn by researching public companies, developing investment theses, presenting stock recommendations, and monitoring portfolio holdings
Skills
- Strong interest in investing, finance, and financial markets
- Willingness to learn and complete NYIF's training curriculum
- Ability to research companies and communicate investment ideas clearly
- Reliable, collaborative, and able to meet deadlines
- High school student
- Prior investing or finance experience is helpful, but not required
