Applied Scientist Intern

The Applied Scientist Intern will contribute to the machine learning and natural language processing model development lifecycle by building, testing, and delivering solutions while collaborating on cross-functional teams and exploring innovative approaches to real-world problems.

Responsibilities

• Experiment and Develop: You can be involved in the entire model development lifecycle, building, testing, and delivering high-quality solutions

Skills

• Be currently enrolled in a PhD program in a relevant discipline or a Master's program with research experience
• Have an understanding and experience with Natural Language Processing, and/or Machine Learning methods, including Large Language Models
• Have experience with model training, fine tuning, and evaluating experiments related to Machine Learning or Large Language Models
• Are experienced in one or more programming languages (preferably Python) and have experience working in the Cloud (preferably AWS)
• Have experience with ML/NLP libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, spaCy, LangChain, and HuggingFace
• Are comfortable working with unstructured datasets and are knowledgeable about tools and techniques for data cleaning and processing
• Have good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Qualifications

Must Haves
