Summary
TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Backend Software Engineer for their Global E-commerce, Supply Chain and Logistics team. The role involves developing efficient, scalable, and secure services to integrate the Supply Chain & Logistics system for TikTok Shop E-commerce, optimizing backend systems for security and efficiency, and delivering engineering excellence across product disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Develop efficient, highly scalable and secured services to build/integrate Supply Chain & Logistics system for domestic and global TikTok Shop E-commerce
- Optimize backend systems and services for data security, modularity, computational efficiency and scalability
- Deliver best-in-class engineering excellence practices across all product engineering disciplines
Skills
- Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- 1 year experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Go/Python/C++
- Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Delivery Technology, and/or Warehousing
- Experience in E-commerce and retail related fields
- Experience in full stack development is a plus
Qualifications
Must Haves
- Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- 1 year experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Go/Python/C++
Nice to Haves
- Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Delivery Technology, and/or Warehousing
- Experience in E-commerce and retail related fields
- Experience in full stack development is a plus
