The mission of TikTok OGC is to inspire diverse entertainment content creation and promote entertainment consumption. We focus on areas such as news, film, sports, gaming and more, aiming to serve copyright holders, entertainment distributors, content creators, TikTok users, and the platform itself. Our goal is to create a win-win environment and foster the flourishing development of the diversified digital content industry.

Our vision is to create a diverse, compatible, and mutually beneficial digital copyright content ecosystem on TikTok. With billions of creators and users on TikTok, accompanied by an immense amount of submitted content, we aim to satisfy the diverse needs of OGC creators, promote the diversity of TikTok content, and address cutting-edge challenges such as global multi-data centers, massive data processing, ultra-high concurrency, and multimedia processing algorithms for video, images, and sound.

Internship Program

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Turn your ambitions into reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok.

Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. It runs for 12 weeks.

Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order you apply. The application limit is applicable to TikTok and its affiliates' jobs globally. Responsibilities

• Assist in the front-end development of international short video TV projects
• Help analyze business needs and contribute to designing and implementing technical solutions
• Support ongoing improvements and optimizations to enhance system stability and scalability
• Work closely with international development teams on cross-regional projects, with opportunities for exposure to multiple locations

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Experience with one of the coding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Be able to work onsite for at least 12 weeks
• Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
• Proficient in performance analysis and optimization methods for Web and Hybrid scenarios
• Have in-depth knowledge of at least one framework (such as React or Vue) and technologies like Chromium, V8, Node.js, with the ability to perform low-level optimizations

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $45/hour.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
