Summary

Times News Media Group is offering an exciting internship opportunity at Blue Ridge TV-13 for a motivated individual to help promote news, sports, and live programming through social media. The role involves creating compelling posts, videos, and graphics to drive engagement with Blue Ridge productions.

Responsibilities

• Updating promotional templates for news and sports productions
• Posting daily on Twitter / X, Facebook and Instagram pages
• Publishing approved news and sports stories on YouTube
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current student pursuing a degree in Digital Marketing or Social Media Management and/or Communications
• Established residency in Pennsylvania
• Valid PA Driver's License and good driving record
• Strong background in media communications, copywriting and visual design
• Understanding of social media platforms (YouTube, Twitter/X and Meta) and scheduling tools
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere and Photoshop)
• Flexibility to work between PC and Mac work stations
• Possess creativity and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently on projects and present them to Social Media Manager for review
