The Microsoft Power App Developer will design and build Power Platform applications, automate workflows, integrate data sources, create reports, and support application testing, maintenance, and users.

Responsibilities

• **Build Applications:** Design and code Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps for web and mobile use
• **Automate Workflows:** Create automated business processes and multi-step approvals using Power Automate
• **Connect Data:** Integrate apps with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and external APIs
• **Visualize Data:** Build interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI
• **Collaborate and Support:** Gather requirements from business users, fix bugs, and provide user training
• **Testing and Maintenance:** Troubleshoot app performance, resolve bugs, handle security roles, and update applications based on user feedback
• **Programming Logic:** Knowledge of **Power FX** (the low-code formula language used in Canvas Apps)
• **Pro-Code Extras:** Basic JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or C# for custom plugins and advanced client-side scripting

Skills

• Typically **2 to 3 years** of hands-on professional experience building Microsoft Power Platform solutions
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with strong business domain knowledge frequently transition into this role)
• **Certifications:** Industry credentials expertise, including:
• * **PL-900:** Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals
• * **PL-100:** Power Platform App Maker
• * **PL-200:** Power Platform Functional Consultant **PL-400:** Microsoft Power Platform Developer
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Python are highly preferred
• Understanding the Zero Trust framework and Incident Response remediation will also be a desired skillset
