Summary
The University of Arkansas System is seeking a Workday Student Financial Aid Analyst to support its Workday Student team and Financial Aid Functional Lead. The role involves documenting processes, designing and configuring business processes, testing functionality, developing training materials, and supporting Workday Financial Aid implementations and updates across UA campuses.
Responsibilities
- Becoming knowledgeable about Workday functionality and navigation
- Documenting existing processes
- Contributing to the design and configuration of new business processes
- Testing new and existing processes
- Developing training and communication materials
- Completes hands-on functional and technical project activities and provides guidance to System resources
- Demonstrates and explains key product features
- Documents requirements and design
- Provides knowledge transfer to the project team
- Configures the corresponding functionality
- Assists in testing and supporting the implementation of new or updates to existing Workday functionality
Skills
- The educational equivalent of Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- At least three years of experience working in higher education financial aid or related field
- Must be able to work collaboratively
- Knowledge of the process being transformed and an understanding of how the process/system integrates with other processes and initiatives
- Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and task management skills
- Solid analytical skills
- Effective management and team skills
- Ability to make decisions at the project team level and properly escalate those decisions that cannot be resolved on a timely basis
- Ability to structure work efficiently
- Ability to provide direction and use interpersonal influences to gain goal alignments with results versus activity-oriented outcomes
- Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Significant experience in assessing, revising, implementing and supporting student Financial Aid processes
- Workday Financial Aid experience
- Experience with change management related to Financial Aid ERP systems or other large enterprise system deployments
