Summary
The University of Colorado Boulder’s CIRES Center for Education, Engagement and Evaluation conducts environmental and Earth system science education, engagement, and evaluation research. The Program Evaluator supports the design, implementation, analysis, and reporting of program evaluations and science education research, including managing evaluation data, conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses, and preparing reports.
Responsibilities
- Assists with data cleaning, entry, and visualization (20%)
- Develops and sets up surveys in Qualtrics (5%)
- Conducts Interviews and focus groups (15%)
- Analyzes qualitative data, uses qualitative coding techniques (15%)
- Analyzes quantitative data (including website and social media analytics) (25%)
- Writes reports (20%)
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (education, environmental science, psychology)
- Experience working in R and/or Excel
- Experience in analyzing data
- Basic understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Attention to detail
- Excellent writing, communication and time management skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Candidates working in the United States through a visa or a work permit or needing sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible for hire in this role
- Experience with Indigenous evaluation methods
- Experience with Qualtrics survey development and data analysis
- Experience in analyzing data for program evaluation
- A background in education research
