Summary
University Health Network is a clinically integrated network that manages University Health ACO, LLC, and partners with healthcare providers and insurance companies to improve care, population health, and healthcare expenditures. The Data Analyst will analyze data from multiple sources, create and validate reports, monitor process performance and customer satisfaction, and identify improvements in data collection.
Responsibilities
- The Data Analyst is a full-time position that is responsible for analyzing large sets of data from multiple sources
- The Data Analyst creates and validates multiple weekly and monthly end user reports
- They will also monitor process performance, satisfaction of our customers, and identify improvements in data collection that will better meet the needs of the department
Skills
- Candidate must reside in East Tennessee Region and be able to commute to the corporate office located in Knoxville, TN for occasional meetings
- Candidate must be able to maintain HIPAA privacy requirements when working in a home office setting
- Proven working experience as a data analyst or similar role required
- Proficiency in programming languages including SQL and Python
- Proficiency using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- BS in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or relevant field desired
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes desired
